[prMac.com] Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - DEVONtechnologies, LLC releases updates for all editions of DEVONagent and publishes DEVONagent Express also in its own online shop. The free find-file utility EasyFind gets a maintenance update, too.
Starting with version 3.2 DEVONagent Express is not only available through the Mac App Store but also through DEVONtechnologies' own website. A free trial version can be downloaded from the DEVONtechnologies website and be unlocked using a license code purchased in DEVONtechnologies own online shop.
DEVONagent Pro 3.2 makes the built-in tutorials easier accessible from the front page of the welcome assistant and from the Help menu, enhances the capabilities of action scripts, and improves the compatibility to DEVONthink Pro and Pro Office. DEVONagent Express get its own welcome assistant that helps new users getting started quickly. DEVONagent Pro and Express 3.2 bring a number of updated plugins, and more thoroughly retrieve titles and descriptions for links e.g. from Facebook. The documentation is better integrated in all editions, the Google Patents Search plugin has been adjusted to recent changes on Google's side, and, as usual, the new versions are faster and even more reliable.
"Starting with DEVONagent Express we will make all our commercial apps also available through our own shop for customers who can't or don't want to buy in the Mac App Store. This also enables us to release updates much faster and to offer discounted upgrades e.g. to DEVONagent Pro or the Infoworker's bundles. In addition DEVONtechnologies updates its free find-file utility EasyFind to version 4.9. Dragging files or folders to EasyFind's icon in the Dock switches the search location to the folder or the file's enclosing folder. A new option in the location popup menu quickly selects the folder represented by the active Finder window. Portuguese and Brazilian users will like the new Portuguese localization and the better handling of Quick Look panel makes EasyFind faster and more responsive on Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" and later.
