New Marble Math Junior Educational App Now Available in the App Store

Pleasantville, NY    Jun 14, 2012

[prMac.com] Pleasantville, New York - Artgig Apps today is pleased to announce the release of Marble Math Junior 1.0 for iOS, a new math practice app designed for kids ages 5-8. Part pinball, part maze, the app blends problem solving, strategy, core math concepts, and good plain fun. Marble Math Junior includes concepts like counting money and telling time in addition to basic math skills, and also features audio questions for children who may not be reading yet.

The object of the game is to solve a variety of math problems by collecting numbers as you roll or drag your marble through a series of mazes. Young mathematicians will be excited to earn new marbles as they avoid obstacles and collect bonuses while working through the problems and achieving high scores. There is no time limit - children can work at their own pace, and if they get an answer wrong, they have the opportunity to see the correct solution and then try again.

Marble Math Junior adheres closely to math concepts children are already learning in the classroom. The skills are divided into three levels: easy, medium and hard, so learners can select the level that best suits them. Teachers and parents can further customize problem types within each level to target specific learning areas.

"One of our main goals with this app, apart from making math fun, is to allow parents and teachers the flexibility to really customize the gameplay to the individual learner. Two children playing side by side may appear to be playing the same game, but in fact they can be working at very specific individual levels," says Matthew Kicinski, President of Artgig Apps. "And of course kids really enjoy the colorful graphics and funny obstacles in addition to earning marbles."

Device Requirements: * iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
* Requires iOS 4.0 or later
* Universal app optimized for display on all iOS devices
* 39.2 MB

Pricing and Availability: Marble Math Junior 1.0 is only $1.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Education category.

Pleasantville, NY    Jun 12, 2012

[prMac.com] Pleasantville, New York - Artgig Apps today is pleased to announce the release of Marble Math, a new math practice app for kids that blends problem solving, strategy, core math concepts, and good plain fun. Featured as New and Noteworthy in the App Store, Marble Math is designed for middle to upper elementary ages 9-12+.

The object of the game is to solve a variety of math problems by collecting numbers as you roll or drag your marble through a series of mazes. Young mathematicians will be excited to earn new marbles as they avoid obstacles and collect bonuses while working through the problems and achieving high scores. Teachers and parents can further customize problem types within each level to target specific learning areas.

"We had a lot of fun making Marble Math and I think it shows. It's got a bit of a classic pinball feel with a funhouse twist. Kids love the idea of dodging a boxing glove or solving math in the dark with only a flashlight to guide you." says Matthew Kicinski, President of Artgig Apps. "And if the obstacles are too distracting, you can always turn them off to focus solely on the problems. Marble Math is extremely flexible, providing a number of options to ensure a good fit between the learner and the experience."

* Requires iOS 4.0 or later
* 38.2 MB

Smart Apps 4 Kids Release New Educational App - Rhyme-N-Time for iPad

Huntington Beach, CA    May 24, 2012

[prMac.com] Huntington Beach, California - Smart Apps 4 Kids announced the immediate availability of its new app called Rhyme-N-Time. The app, created for the iPad, combines a rhyming storybook and charming game wrapped in an educational learning tool. Rhyme-N-Time keeps track of how the child is performing with various statistics as they move throughout the game. The app allows the child to see uppercase or lowercase letters, plus the ability to use images and words or just the word for clues when trying to match rhyming words.

The educational app revolves around Jane and Blayne, who are twins, on a quest to find words that rhyme. There are four action screens and each one has a different task to complete based on finding rhyming or non-rhyming words. There are hundreds of different words used so repetition is not an issue. Rhyme-N-Time also is sprinkled with positive messages like "always eat your vegetables" and "don't talk to strangers". The goal is to collect enough coins for Jane and Blayne to buy a golden chain and great dane for their upcoming birthday.

Rhyme-N-Time comes without a lot of the features that concern parents when purchasing apps for their children. There is no data collection, ads, IAP (In-App Purchases), social media tie ins or links to other websites. Smart Apps 4 Kids wants to make sure parents feel comfortable about what they are getting and what they are not, when they acquire an app for their child. There are no "gotcha" events or annoying pop ups in this app.

"The most challenging part of creating educational apps is making them entertaining and a great learning tool for the kids. We think we have accomplished that in Rhyme-N-Time," says owner and creator Scott Kibby. The objective of Smart Apps 4 Kids inspiring apps is to help educate a child no matter how big or small while having fun in the process.

Device Requirements:

* Compatible with iPad
* Requires iOS 3.2 or later
* 21.9 MB

Pricing and Availability:

Rhyme-N-Time 1.0 is $1.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Education category.
