TweetFlow Brings Easy Twitter Watching To iPhone And iPad

Tweet Flow is a full-screen Twitter visualizer that aims to be the easiest way of watching Twitter on an iPhone or iPad. No Twitter account is required to use the app. Simply type a keyword or hash tag into the search box and tweets will begin to flow onto the screen.

"Tweet Flow is designed to be used as a second screen when watching your favorite TV show or sports event", said developer Darragh Moriarty. "Most Twitter apps are overloaded with complicated features, making it difficult to just watch live tweets about a particular topic. Tweet Flow is designed for automated simplicity. Just search and let the live global commentary flow."

Tweet Flow has a built-in web browser for following links in tweets. If a tweet contains a link to a photo, website or YouTube video, this can be easily viewed without needing to switch to an external app such as Safari or another Twitter app.

A major new feature in this latest update is the addition of native iPad support. A new layout has been designed for the iPad, maximizing usage of the available screen area. Up to nine tweets are shown on-screen simultaneously and a custom flip transition algorithm ensures the flow of tweets moves at a steady pace.

Aside from the new i Pad support, Tweet Flow's latest update boasts many other new features. A history mode is now included, allowing users to view tweets that have disappeared off-screen before getting a chance to interact with them. The app is now fully compatible with the Retina display, ensuring smooth and sharp graphics on the new iPhone and i Pad. "Lots of spit and polish has gone into this update", said Darragh. "Little things, such as the first-run guided tour, have been added to make the user experience as fun and friendly as possible."

First iPhone App To Tell Users Who Is Blocking Them On Twitter
