AppZapp 4.0 for the iPhone and iPad - Now for a limited time for free

Falkensee,  DE   Mar 08, 2012

[prMac.com] Falkensee, Germany - ConIT AG is pleased to announce the release of AppZapp 4.0 for iPhone and iPad. What does AppZapp do? The app knows its way around in the iTunes App Store. It compiles clearly arranged lists that can be retrieved directly on the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. This makes it easy to get familiar with important new products and updates, as well as the Top-400-Charts and get informed about apps that are free of charge for today only, or have been reduced in price.

For each app AppZapp keeps a data sheet that - just like in the App Store - contains the important core data: a description, screenshots and also user ratings. It is also possible to view the price development of an app, to start videos or retrieve your own editorial reviews or blogs. Anyone can register for free in the AppZapp community and put interesting apps on a wish list, set a price or developer alert and manage his own apps in MyApps overview.

AppZapp 4.0: The App-News-Stream for the AppZapp Community is here:

In version 4.0 AppZapp clearly expands its community features. Starting right now it is possible to connect with other AppZapp users. In a specially created stream, AppZapp will keep you up to date about the apps that your friends just downloaded from the App Store, which apps they like and which alarms they have set. Anything posted in the app stream may be commented on immediately. This way app tips can be exchanged, bargains pointed out or a warning regarding bad apps may be issued. The goal: a private app-news-stream with very exciting content will be created - well worth looking into several times a day for the latest news regarding the updates.

Good idea: AppZapp will search the address book for friends that are already registered with AppZapp or Facebook, and ask them for permission to also become friends directly through AppZapp. The community function enables someone to follow an individual passively - comparable to a Twitter-Follower. AppZapp already supplies several user lists from which interesting people may be selected. The lists may include very popular, very active or newly registered users. Even a search of already registered users is available.

Previously someone's own apps had to be manually input into a MyApps-list. No more. From now on AppZapp finds out by itself which apps are installed on your i-device and incorporates them - after consulting with you - into the MyApps-list.

Pricing and Availability:

In addition to the free AppZapp version there is still the paid version AppZapp Push, that delivers push alerts (usually $ 0.99) and AppZapp HD for the iPad (usually $ 0.99). To celebrate the release of version 4.0 all three programs are currently free of charge.
