The object of the game is to solve a variety of math problems by collecting numbers as you roll or drag your marble through a series of mazes. Young mathematicians will be excited to earn new marbles as they avoid obstacles and collect bonuses while working through the problems and achieving high scores. There is no time limit - children can work at their own pace, and if they get an answer wrong, they have the opportunity to see the correct solution and then try again.
Marble Math Junior adheres closely to math concepts children are already learning in the classroom. The skills are divided into three levels: easy, medium and hard, so learners can select the level that best suits them. Teachers and parents can further customize problem types within each level to target specific learning areas.
"One of our main goals with this app, apart from making math fun, is to allow parents and teachers the flexibility to really customize the gameplay to the individual learner. Two children playing side by side may appear to be playing the same game, but in fact they can be working at very specific individual levels," says Matthew Kicinski, President of Artgig Apps. "And of course kids really enjoy the colorful graphics and funny obstacles in addition to earning marbles."
