Max Astro: Character Led Puzzle Space Quest Game Coming to iOS

London,  GB   Jun 13, 2012

[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Execution Unit today announced that their first game, Max Astro: Stranded Beyond the Stars, will be available exclusively for iPhone and iPad and released on the 14th June 2012. Max Astro: Stranded Beyond the Stars is a visually exciting and challenging 2D puzzle game where players guide Max Astro in his bid to escape an alien world.

In Max Astro: Stranded Beyond The Stars, our hero Max's shot down on an unknown planet by his pursuers. With limited oxygen supply and very limited athletic ability the player must guide Max through more than 30 puzzling levels guiding him to his spaceship before his oxygen supply runs out all the while evading his alien enemies ballooning in from above.

"The trick to being successful is to use the ballooning aliens, move them, then drop them, stacking and crushing them in the right order to reach pickups and bonuses as well as forming combos to increase your score" says Darren Redgrave lead programmer and company founder. "luckily the aliens aren't the brightest so they always fall in the same pattern, even if you fail the first time this behavior allows you to puzzle out the best way to complete a level. Just remember Max isn't the most athletic character so he can't jump too high even with the aid of his jet pack!"

Max Astro: Stranded Beyond the Stars will be available for free with additional levels priced at $1.99 (USD). The game will be available worldwide in Apple's App Store for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
