Minsk,  BY   May 10, 2012

[prMac.com] Minsk, Belarus - Igromatic today is pleased to announce Magic Sorter 1.1 for iPad, an update to their children's matching and sorting Game that features shape, silhouette, size, puzzle, and color matching. With a nautical theme, Magic Sorter's Sea Tales takes young players on an under-the-sea themed adventure in object identification and matching. Featuring easily manipulated objects, bight colors, engaging artwork, clever animations, and vibrant music, Shape Sorter will capture the imagination of young gamers everywhere. The app also supports the Retina display on the New iPad.

Magic Sorter features 5 sea-themed games that target important early cognitive and developmental skills, such as fine motor coordination, cause and effect, color, size, shape, and object recognition. In The Shape game, players match 9 simple shapes with their corresponding placeholders. Brightly colored shapes are easily manipulated through finger swipes on the screen. A happy musical tone tells players when they have placed the shape in the correct spot. A gentle horn tone indicates that the shape is not placed correctly. The incorrect shape drifts back to the shape pile, giving players another chance to move the shape to the correct spot. When all of the shapes are placed correctly, players are rewarded with one of a number of short musical animation clips of dancing and instrument-playing sea creatures in an under-the-sea wonderland.

Additional games include the Silhouette game where players place 9 sea creatures in their matching silhouettes and the Size game where players match a sea creature according to 7 different sizes. In the Size game, players may choose from 7 unique animals to match sizes. The Color game instructs players to match 6 octopuses of varying colors with the corresponding colored coral or plant. The Puzzle game beckons gamers to solve 6 simple puzzles to discover sea creature pictures. Successful completion of each game in Magic Sorter features a reward of one of a number of engaging animated, musical sea creature videos.

Magic Sorter makes use of the unique finger dragging capabilities of the iPad, making this a game that can be played by even the youngest of players. Each game starts with a very clear instructions. Kids see what successful completion of the game looks like before the game begins, eliminating any confusion on what the child should do to complete the game. Since there is no language skills used in the game, the game is appropriate for speakers of any language.
