Categorized by genre, artist and release year, FaRao creates links between similar songs to find suitable tracks based on both user entered preferences and 'likes'. Users can enter a favorite artist to automatically play tracks by both that artist and similar performers, while in-play 'good' and 'bad' buttons allow FaRao to continually learn musical tastes and fine tune the selected songs from the library. Radio output is played via a custom designed and intuitive playback interface, which displays album artwork, pause and volume controls in addition to a skip function, allowing users to move to the next track.
Favorite custom radio configurations can be saved for quick recall at any time, whilst an information button allows users to discover more information about a song or artist, search on google, or perform an image search to discover new album artwork or artist photography. For novices of these musical genres a 'Hot 100' category provides the latest and seasonal tracks selected by FaRao staff, allowing everyone to quickly start discovering great new music.
